Great things never come from comfort zones

Passionate best describes my personality and that of my business.

One of the greatest gifts in life is to be surrounded by people who believe in you and spur you on to success. I've had many conversations over the years with some amazing people - usually glass of wine in hand - about the things we're most passionate about and how significant collaboration and creative thinking is to success.

I didn’t know it way back then but my business, Like Minds Create, is a result of those chats. I’m fortunate to now be able to work with people on building their business and sharing their stories. A large part of what I do is to champion their ambition and motivate people to seek out success - in the very same way my friends and family have been doing for me for years.

I talk to a lot of people about their business and how I might be able to help fast track or at least ease their start-up business journey. In every one of those conversations I feel myself light up with excitement, passion and a raw desire to help them find success. People have amazing ideas that they have nurtured and it’s incredible to be there when they find the courage to share their idea for the first time with you. It’s a privilege and each time reminds me why I love being in business.

If you’re thinking about taking the plunge with a new business, my advice to you would be to just start! No one is ever ready; stop wasting time second guessing yourself or your idea. You'll never know until you take the plunge and you'll never learn as fast as you do when you jump in at the deep end.

Great things never come from comfort zones. Business is challenging, it can be hard, frustrating, confusing and relentless but guess what? It’s all yours.  If you dig deep and get comfortable with being uncomfortable, great things will happen. Mindset is just as important in business as the idea itself.
